Up in the hills of Athens the frame of George and Daphne’s new house is nearly complete. We have used spruce from the mountains of Karpenisi and it will be insulated with wool from the Peloponnese.

The design is about porch life. We have taken the layout from the Dogtrot house typology of the deep south and various details have come from examples at The Louisiana Rural Life museum at Baton Rouge. Perfect for life amongst the pistachio and fig trees.
