For generations, Shepherds Barn on the Old Coach Road has sheltered walkers from the rain and framed a view of the Old Man of Wilmington through big open doors. Barns are storage containers so our conversion was arranged to place a large object in the threshing bay and sliding green doors to expose the old view. The aim was to keep it a hard working building. A local foraging school called Hunter Gather Cook started teaching from the barn in 2019.
